The drums on "hands" sound ecstatic; it's so fun to listen to them kick in. This is an emotionally-blissful pop album that widens one's perception of what can be done within such a format. I felt my pineal gland vibrate, (definitely kind of a "sigh,") and tripped out— I thought about it for hours. How the hell does mind correlate with matter?? Because I think it doesn't even. A personal, effective work from two of my favorite artists right now. Textures weave back and forth to suggest struggles, acceptance, denials, fear, and celebration all at once. A wonderful album. wc_helmets
